Washington Terrace renews mutual-aid pact with HAFB

WASHINGTON TERRACE — The Washington Terrace City Council has unanimously approved renewing the city’s mutual aid agreement with Hill Air Force Base.

Should Washington Terrace require emergency response services when local units are busy, the mutual aid agreement ensures that HAFB EMS will be there to help in the event of a fire, hazardous materials incident or natural disaster.

In return for its services, HAFB will receive support from the EMS units in Washington Terrace should the need arise.
