Driver injured when semitrailer flips

OGDEN — Police are investigating whether alcohol may have played a factor when a laundry service semitrailer overturned at Hinckley Drive and Pennsylvania Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The semi was westbound on Hinckley Drive when it left its travel lane, hitting a traffic light pole, according to police reports.

Police Lt. Scott Conley said the box of the truck was separated from the frame in the crash. The truck is owned by Alsco.

Conley said the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening. Police are waiting on toxicology reports to determine if the driver had

been drinking.
