OGDEN -- The Weber County Bar Association has elected Michael S. Malmborg as the 2013 president-elect.
Malmborg is an associate with the Ogden office of the Durham, Jones and Pinegar law firm.
The president-elect serves as something of a vice president before assuming the presidency of the bar. Malmborg will become the county bar president in 2014.
The current president-elect is Richard H. Reeve, who will preside in 2013.
The current president is Paul K. Bachman. Both Bachman and Reeve are from the Ogden office of the law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall and McCarthy.
The county bar serves as a fraternal and professional organization with regular monthly meetings and speakers addressing legal topics, often meeting continuing education requirements lawyers must accrue annually.
