Murdock Hyundai of Lindon honored by automaker

LINDON - Hyundai Motor America is pleased to announce that Murdock Hyundai of Lindon has been chosen to receive the 2012 Hyundai President's Award as part of a national dealer recognition program that rewards top performing dealers for outstanding customer satisfaction.

"We're thrilled to be recognized as one of the top Hyundai dealers across the country," said Blake Murdock, Owner, Murdock Hyundai of Lindon. "Receiving the President's Award from Hyundai is a reflection of the hard work and emphasis our staff places on generating a high level of customer service and exceptional sales. We are excited to share this recognition with them."

Hyundai Motor America is recognizing 30 of the top dealers across the country that achieved the highest July-October cumulative Hyundai Purchase Index (HPI) score this year. Winning dealers will be invited to an all-expense paid incentive trip to one of the following destinations: 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions, 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans, 2013 GRAMMY Music Awards show in Los Angeles, or 2013 Academy Awards show in Los Angeles.

With the help of its dealers across the country, Hyundai established a new all-time annual sales record in 2011, with 645,691 vehicles sold and is on track to break this record again in 2012.

Models across the entire Hyundai lineup have received prestigious awards and overwhelming praise. The Hyundai Elantra was recently named 2012 North American Car of the Year, one of the most exclusive automotive awards in the world. Genesis was also the highest-ranked model in the midsize premium car category in the 2012 J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS). In addition, Hyundai Azera, Elantra, Sonata, Genesis, Equus, Tucson and Santa Fe, all achieved 2012 Top Safety Pick honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
