Thanksgiving Run/Walk more successful than ever

Editor,

This 27th Thanksgiving Run/Walk proved that the event has become more successful and is overflowing with the goodness and generous sharing of the faithful people in this community who reach out to others. Everyone present brought their joy and gratitude with spirit that brought sunshine to one another.

With 1,200 participants, four large trucks were filled with non-perishable food and $5,000 was collected that will be divided among the four agencies: St. Ann’s Center, Ogden Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and the Jeanne Hansen Food Bank.

The runners coming in first were Jared Seachrist, Nathan Pollard, Sariah Long and Katie Thompson.

Gratitude shared brings peace and hope to our community. Thank you, and may you receive god’s choice blessings.
