3 injured in Ogden crash Wednesday

OGDEN — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday night in Ogden.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Monroe Boulevard and Kylee Lane, said Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox.

A Mazda sport utility vehicle was traveling north on Monroe Boulevard and collided with a Chrysler Concorde traveling south. The Concorde crossed the median and struck the Mazda head-on, Fox said.

Two males in the Mazda were uninjured. The female driver of the Concorde, a male passenger and an infant in a car seat in the back seat were injured, he said. They were taken by ambulance to McKay-Dee Hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening. The names of those involved in the crash were not released.

No citations were issued Wednesday night, and the crash remained under investigation.
