BRIGHAM CITY -- Christmas Tree Lane will begin Saturday at the Brigham City Historic Depot.
This year a “Community Christmas Tree” is planned for those in the community who don’t want to decorate an entire tree by themselves.
Each individual or family is asked to bring in an ornament to hang on the tree. It can be a special family memento, a photo of an individual or a family photo, preferably made into a hanging ornament.
It could also be a picture of an organization, such as a Boy Scout troop, a school class, religious class, or an ancestor you would like to honor.
Veterans pictures are also requested.
There is a gift shop. Bordon’s candy is also on sale there. Volunteers are at the Depot Monday, as well as Thursday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to
5 p.m. The Depot is more than 100 years old and there are many features in the building that are original to the Historic Depot.
The Christmas Story Hour will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6. That would be a good time to bring in your ornaments for the Community Christmas Tree.
