Log home offers owner a surprise

FARR WEST -- Property located at 2375 N. 2000 W. was approved by council members for a rezone and went from residential to commercial property.

Randy Chambers said he bought the property to store construction equipment there. He said there was an existing home on the property that held a surprise. As they were cleaning the home they found a log home inside that was really unstable. After researching the log home Chambers found the log home originally was his great-great-grandfather’s home. He said the log home has now been restored as close as possible to its original state.

Councilman Tim Shupe said the log home looks great now, and the story is amazing.
