Mayor: Nice job fighting mosquitoes

FARR WEST -- The Director of the Weber County Mosquito Abatement Board, Bruce Bennett, has been there for 51 years and has a salary recently approved at $114,183, according to Mayor Lee Dickemore.

Dickemore said the mosquito board has received written notice from people from Hooper to Huntsville and North Ogden who appreciate the lack of mosquitoes this past year.

Dickemore said there had been a 98.9 percent kill rate of mosquitoes in the areas sprayed by the mosquito abatement airplane.
