Col. Zabel headed to Tinker AFB

HILL AIR FORCE BASE — Col. Sarah E. Zabel, commander of the 75th Air Base Wing at Hill Air Force Base, will be moving to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Air Force announced late Friday afternoon that Zabel has been named special assistant to the commander, Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Materiel Command, headquartered at Tinker.

Under recent restructuring, the Air Logistics Complex at HIll now reports to the Sustainment Center at Tinker.

Zabel, who has been selected for promotion to brigadier general, has commanded the 75th Air Base Wing since July 2011.

The 75th Wing provides installation support for tenant units at Hill, including the Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings and other units.
