Former Atlanta Braves star Dale Murphy, a Utah County resident, will join Joe Torre’s U.S. baseball team’s coaching staff for the World Baseball Classic in early 2013.
According to USA Baseball, other former Braves on the staff include Greg Maddux and Gerald Perry. The rest of the staff includes Larry Bowa, Willie Randolph and Marcel Lachemann.

Former Weber State standout Damian Lillard continues to take the NBA by storm, and reporters across the nation are eating it up.
Of course, good material helps too.
Lillard told USA Today recently that he is afraid of statues, and in his unique way, talked about his first trip to Washington, D.C., and all the national landmarks.
