Elim Lutheran Church announces Advent classes

OGDEN — The Season of Advent is the first season in the church year, and comprises the four Sundays before Christmas.

This year Elim Lutheran Church, at 575 23rd St., will have a series of adult education classes at 9 a.m. Sundays, and Family Advent Nights at 6 p.m. Mondays.

The adult education classes will be:

Dec. 2 – Advent overview.

Dec. 9 – People of Advent.

Dec. 16 – Advent Angels.

Dec. 23 — An hour of storytelling.

There is no charge for the class, and coffee and other beverages will be available.

Three Family Advent Nights will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Monday, Dec. 10, and Dec.17.

Everyone — individuals, couples, friends, all ages — is invited to Family Advent Nights.
