OGDEN -- The Budweiser Clydesdale horse team and wagon will visit the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home on Friday to help the home commemorate Pearl Harbor Day.
The horse team will be at the home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The visit is open to the public.
Kelly Snowball, administrator of the home, said the team is on a tour of military bases in the West and is staying at Weber County Fairgrounds, just up the street from the nursing home. Wasatch Distributing arranged for the visit.
In addition to the team, the home is hosting a special lunch at noon that day for any Utah veterans who are Pearl Harbor survivors. Utah Veterans Affairs Director Terry Schow said invitations have been sent to all those he knows of.
