Celebrate your faith during this time of year

Editor,

If you are Christian, wish everyone a Merry Christmas. If you are Jewish, wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah.

If you celebrate Kwanzaa, wish everyone Happy Kwanzaa. If you are agnostic or atheist, wish everyone a happy solstice or have a nice day.

I won't be offended. I am adult enough to accept that you have a different believes then I do. I am glad that you are proud of your belief enough to wish me salutations accordingly, and I will wish you a Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, happy solstice or have nice day in return.

Likewise, if I wish you a Merry Christmas, don't be offended. Be grown up! Smile, and wish me a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, happy solstice or have a nice day in return.

I am a Christian. I celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ. By celebrating this, it brings happiness to my family and me. We take this season and try to be a little kinder and do a little more for others. We sing songs, give thanks, do random acts of kindness for people we don't even know. We give gifts and spend time together with those we love.

When I wish you a Merry Christmas, I am saying to you, I wish you well. I wish you joy and happiness. I wish you the best.
