Harrisville man gets up to 15 years for hitting woman who fell out of moving truck

FARMINGTON -- Brandon Sloper was sentenced to serve 1 to 15 years in the Utah State Prison today.

He had pleaded no contest to second degree felony aggravated assault. Judge David Hamilton ordered the sentence following 90 minutes of arguments and statements.

Sloper, of Harrisville, had admitted to hitting Ashlee Bambrough 10 or 11 times. After being hit, Bambrough either fell or was pushed out of the moving pickup truck the two were riding in on Highway 193.
