FORT DUCHESNE-- Authorities say the FBI is investigating what sickened two people who came into contact with a document sent to the office of the Ute Tribal Court in Fort Duchesne.
Jensen Fire Chief Todd Wallis tells KSL-TV that court employees reported what he called an adverse reaction after coming in contact with a document received on Wednesday.
FBI spokeswoman Debbie Bertram confirms the bureau is investigating the incident and that two people were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Wallis says employees contacted a Bureau of Indian Affairs police officer who placed the document in a sealed plastic bag and took it to her home in Uintah County.
That's where the hazardous materials team conducted preliminary tests, but they showed no harmful substances.
