OGDEN -- An 18-year-old man has been arrested on charges he raped a Fremont High School student.
Morgan David Izatt was booked Monday into the Weber County Jail for assault, first-degree forcible sodomy and first-degree rape.
Izatt remained Thursday night in the Weber County Jail.
His bond has been set at $41,012. The rape and sodomy charges each carry a $20,000 bond and the assault charge has a $1,012 bond.
A female student at Fremont High reported to school officials that Izatt had raped and threatened her, said Weber County Sheriff Chief Deputy Klint Anderson, who declined to release the age of the alleged victim.
The incident reportedly occurred around Nov. 1, in Plain City. The victim and Izatt are acquainted, said Anderson, who did not elaborate on their relationship.
Charging documents filed in 2nd District Court allege that Izatt engaged in sexual intercourse without the victim's consent. The victim is 14 years old or older, court documents state.
Fremont High officials notified the Weber County Sheriff's Office on Nov. 29
Izatt was subsequently interviewed by detectives and arrested.
Anderson said there is no indication Izatt may have other victims.
