EDEN — A local artist and a business owner are supporting the YMCA of Northern Utah through a launch party today for a new pendant being sold as a fundraiser for the organization.
The party, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Chic Style Boutique in Eden, will feature a chance to purchase the pendant and have it engraved with a special message.
Artist Ashley Stoddard, who designed the pendant, and business owner D’Arcy Vandenberg have teamed up to offer this event.
Chic Style Boutique is at 2595 Highway162.
All proceeds from the sale of the pendant will benefit the YMCA of Northern Utah’s Community Family Center Capital Campaign.
The Larry H. and Gail Miller Family Community Center will be built at Lincoln Elementary School and will increase the YMCA of Northern Utah’s capacity to serve low-income, at-risk youths.
Pendants also will be sold at the Chic Style Boutique in South Ogden, located at 1695 E. Skyline Drive, and the YMCA Ogden office at 893 24th St., Suite 200, Ogden.
