Weber County officials recognized

OGDEN — The Utah Association of Counties recognized two Weber County officials recently during the group’s annual convention.

The association named John Ulibarri as the 2012 County Assessor of the Year and John Bond as the 2012 County Treasurer of the Year.

Members of the association elected each official as the president of his respective association. The Assessor and Treasurer Associations represent all 29 counties in Utah.

Ulibarri worked in the Davis County Assessor’s Office and was the Weber County Chief Deputy Assessor.

Bond came to Weber County in 1992 as its first internal auditor and worked his way through the county before he was elected county treasurer in November 2010.
