Kathy Westover and Kristian "Kit" Baker were married in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple on Nov. 14. The reception was held that evening at the Roy Central LDS Stake Center.
The bride is the daughter of Jawin and Sandra Westover of Roy. Parents of the bridegroom are Cleo Q. and Diane M. Baker, and Carolyn B. and Bobby L. Henderson of Charleston, S.C.
She is a graduate of Weber High School and served an LDS mission to Cincinnati. She also graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in family studies and from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Education degree. She teaches school in the Davis School District.
He graduated from high school in Charleston and served in the Italy Rome LDS Mission. He also graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Italian. He did his graduate work at Loma Linda University, where he received a Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy. He currently works at Health Associates.
They spent their honeymoon in Charleston and on a cruise to the Bahamas. They have made their home in Clearfield.
