FARMINGTON — A sentencing hearing has been rescheduled for the fourth time for a man who admitted his role in a botched robbery three years ago.
Michael Rivera, 31, refused to be transported from Davis County Jail to 2nd District Court on Monday, said Judge John R. Morris.
Morris set Dec. 17 for another sentencing hearing. The sentencing hearings have been rescheduled three other times due to problems with the presentence report.
Rivera pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to robbery and aggravated assault, both second-degree felonies. He faces one to 15 years in Utah State Prison for his role in the Aug. 29, 2009, robbery in Clearfield, where a man was shot in his driveway.
