OGDEN -- An 18-year-old man accused of raping a Fremont High School student has been charged with offenses involving another alleged victim.
Morgan David Izatt was charged Monday with two counts of forcible sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl, said Weber County Sheriff's Detective Lt. Doug Coleman.
The charges were filed as a result of an interview detectives had with Izatt, Coleman said. Izatt remained Wednesday night in the Weber County Jail on $61,000 bond.
Izatt was booked into Weber County Jail last week on charges of assault, first-degree forcible sodomy and first-degree rape.
Those charge stem from the alleged sexual assault of a female Fremont High School student around Nov. 1 in Plain City. The student reported to school officials that Izatt had raped and threatened her, Weber County Sheriff Chief Deputy Klint Anderson has said. He hasn't released the age of the victim.
A probable cause affidavit filed in 2nd District Court states that Izatt confessed to striking that victim in the chest and forcing her to have sex with him.
Detectives are confident that Izatt has at least one additional victim, Coleman said. Anyone with information about Izatt or the investigation should call Detective Stephanie Tatton at 801-778-6266.
