OGDEN -- No one was injured when a flatbed trailer crashed Friday morning in Ogden Canyon.
The accident happened about 8 a.m. around 400 Ogden Canyon near the Alaskan Inn, said Weber County Sheriff's Sgt. Ryon Hadley.
The semi-truck was eastbound on a curve when the trailer, hauling a front-end loader, shifted, Hadley said. The trailer came loose, rolled past the truck and overturned. The semi stayed upright.
The truck belongs to a Salt Lake County construction company and was en route to Eden.
The driver wasn't injured, Hadley said. Possible citations against the driver in connection with the crash are pending the outcome of an investigation.
The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and for an outstanding traffic warrant, said Hadley.
The canyon remained open while the accident was cleared, but traffic was delayed until about noon.
The Utah Highway Patrol assisted the sheriff's office in investigating the accident.
