FARMINGTON -- A 31-year-old man has been sentenced to serve two terms of one to 15 years in Utah State Prison for his role in a botched robbery three years ago.
Michael Rivera appeared before Judge John R. Morris on Monday in 2nd District Court.
Morris sentenced Rivera to serve the prison terms concurrently. Rivera pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to robbery and aggravated assault, both second-degree felonies. He faces one to 15 years in Utah State Prison for his role in the Aug. 29, 2009, robbery in Clearfield, where a man was shot in his driveway.
