Officer shoots, kills man in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE — Officials say a man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in the parking lot of the Department of Workforce Services building in Taylorsville.
A Unified police dispatcher says authorities had been responding to a call of a threat involving a knife Thursday morning at the facility on South Redwood Road.
Other details weren’t immediately available.
