St. Michael’s offers weekly activities, chances to help others

BRIGHAM CITY — The Adult Forum at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 589 S. 200 East, in Brigham City, will continue to meet in Hannifin Hall on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

The Adult Forum, led by Ivan Adams, is studying the book, “Evolution of the Word,” by Marcus Borg. This book presents the New Testament in the chronological order in which most scholars believe it was written, the earliest being Paul’s letters. A nursery is available for young children.

St. Michael’s turn at the Acts VI Soup Kitchen is this Thursday. Help is needed for food preparation, cooking, serving and cleanup.

The next potluck dinner and Bible Study will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the church Annex. This group reads and discusses the Gospel appointed for the following Sunday. All are invited.

A healing service, with Eucharist, is held at noon every Wednesday at the church.

A Twelveth Night Party will be held at the church at 6 p.m. Jan. 6.

For information, go to St. Michael’s website at stmichaelsut.org or call the church office at 435-239-8336.
