FrontRunner sets holiday schedule

OGDEN — The Utah Transit Authority will expand its FrontRunner service on New Year’s Eve, but the rail service will be closed on New Year’s Day.

On Monday, FrontRunner will operate on a regular weekday schedule with expanded evening and nighttime service.

The last FrontRunner trains northbound to Ogden depart Salt Lake Central Station at 12:20 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. Tuesday. The last trains southbound to Provo depart Salt Lake Central Station at 12:12 a.m. and 1:21 a.m. Tuesday.

After the early morning trains, FrontRunner will not operate on Tuesday.

Ski buses will run regular weekday service on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
