2 men found dead in Salt Lake City home

SALT LAKE CITY — Police say they’re investigating after two men described as elderly and infirm were both found dead in a Salt Lake City home.

Detective Dennis McGowan says police haven’t determined whether the deaths discovered Friday are suspicious, and the coroner hasn’t released a manner of death. But he says it’s unusual that both were found dead at the same time.

Authorities say a hospice worker last checked on the men Wednesday, and contacted police when phone calls went unanswered on Friday.

Officials say police and firefighters forced their way into the home near 1000 South and 400 East and found the two dead.
The men’s names have not been released.
