Lifetime Ogden resident Belva May Bodily celebrated her 80th birthday with a family dinner.
The seventh child of 10, she was born on Dec. 27, 1932, to Lewis V. and Dora M. Linderman. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1950. She married the love of her life Van K. Bodily on April 30, 1954, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple. They cruised to Hawaii and the Caribbean before he died on Dec. 22, 1991.
She worked at the Orpheum Theater as an usherette, at Swift, Del Monte and Jensen Floral. She was also co-owner of Bodily Floral & Gift. She is a member of the LDS Church and has held many positions.
She still enjoys spending time with family, working in her greenhouse, embroidery, reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Her children and their spouses are Kathy Barnes, Ron and LaRee Bodily, Scott and Jana Bodily, and Steve (deceased) and Mona Bodily. She has 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
