Forrest Hollopeter

Forrest H. Hollopeter of Ogden celebrated his 80th birthday at an open house held in his honor on Jan. 5.

He was born Dec. 31, 1932, in Atchinson, Kan., to Wayne and Velma Hollopeter.

He married Barbara Willison on June 3, 1956, in Grand Junction, Colo.

He also attended school there, graduating from Grand Junction High School.

After graduation, he was drafted into the Army, where he spent two years in the service. Then he spent the next 43 years working for the Union Pacific Railroad.

He has had season tickets to Weber State University football and basketball for 44 years.

Their children and spouses are Debbie Sherry, Kenny Hollopeter, and Allen and Julie Hollopeter.

He has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
