Suspicious death at Fort Duchesne mobile home

FORT DUCHESNE — Authorities in Uintah County are investigating after a man was found dead in a Fort Duchesne mobile home.

Sheriff’s officials say the man’s body was found a little before 4 p.m. Monday when an officer did a welfare check at the Country Village Mobile Home Park.

The man’s name hasn’t been released. It wasn’t immediately clear why deputies ruled the death suspicious.

Officials say Utah State Crime Lab investigators were helping with the investigation Monday night.
