OGDEN — The Weber County Commission named Kerry Gibson as chairman and Jan Zogmaister as vice chairwoman for 2013.
The appointment took place Tuesday morning during the commission’s regular weekly meeting. It was newly elected Commissioner Matthew Bell’s first meeting.
Gibson and Zogmaister will hold the positions for one year. Gibson takes over the position previously held by retired Commissioner Craig Dearden.
During the meeting, the commission also announced that it is canceling the Jan. 15 meeting.
The next commission meeting will be Jan. 22.
