SYRACUSE -- City officials have approved a request from Ovation Homes to rezone 16 acres of property at approximately 3000 South and 2000 West from A-1 agriculture to R-1 residential.
The rezone is in conformance with the city’s general plan and was approved at a recent meeting by a unanimous vote of the city council. It was also approved unanimously earlier by the city’s planning commission.
The property is located directly south of the existing phases of Trailside Park Subdivision. The developer intends to develop the property as future phases of the subdivision, with inclusion to the Trailside Park Home Owners Association, according to Michael Eggett, director of community and economic development.STORY:201301100029Syracuse approves land rezone/Local/2013/01/10/Syracuse-approves-land-rezone.html-1
