OGDEN — For his Eagle Scout project, Ben Williams is organizing public assistance today, at the request of Emilie Parker’s family, to remove the pink ribbons which were displayed by the community.
They hope to keep the ribbons from becoming tattered and dirty,
According to a press announcement, there are two ways to participate:
• Meet at noon today at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 1000 Suncrest Drive (just north of the Ben Lomond High School soccer field). Ribbon removal teams will be organized there. Participants are asked to bring scissors or something to cut the ribbons.
• Also, the public is invited to remove ribbons on their own, in their area of the city. Williams asks that individuals or groups email their name or group name, the number of participants, and total time spent removing ribbons to pinkribboneagleproject@gmail.com.
