Phyllis Powers

Phyllis Powers of Ogden will celebrate her 90th birthday with her family on Thursday, Jan. 17.

She was born to Percy Archibald and Mary Ann Jacob Watson in Berkeley, Calif., on Jan. 17, 1923.

She married Louis E. Powers on Aug. 6, 1942, in Reno, Nev. He died June 24, 2003.

She has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States. She has worked in retail sales and taught classes in quilting, ceramics and crafting. She enjoys reading, socializing with family and watching the Utah Jazz. She has a canine companion Fancy.

Her children and spouses are David and Kayie Powers of North Ogden, and Roy Powers of North Little Rock, Ark. A daughter, Katy Baker, is deceased.
