Kaysville warns to keep fire hydrants clear for emergencies

KAYSVILLE -- The deep snow is covering some of the fire hydrants so the Kaysville Fire Department is asking residents to help clear snow from fire hydrants throughout the city.

In the event of an emergency, these hydrants can be difficult to locate, especially when covered with snow. If a fire hydrant is located near your property, your assistance in clearing the snow from those hydrants is greatly appreciated, fire department officials said. This will help improve response should a fire emergency arise.
