After much thought and after reading all the negative comments about our police force, I decided it was time to express my thoughts. I’ve never once seen or read a letter written telling the police officers what a great job they do.
My daughter and I were in Riverdale stopped at a light. There was a young police officer out there at the light pushing everyone who couldn’t get up the incline because of snow-pack and slick conditions. He didn’t even have a coat on and it was only 15 degrees. Great job, young man! I’m sure he would of said it was just part of the job.
Where would we be without our police force and armed services? Sure they make mistakes, but don’t we? People are so quick to judge. Maybe they should walk in their shoes for a day and see what it’s like. They are very well trained and they take an oath when hired. They are very competent at what they do. I say hats off to our police officers! “Judge ye not less ye be judged.”
