New credit union building in works in Bountiful

BOUNTIFUL -- City officials have given the green light to a plan to build a new Goldenwest Credit Union at 2085 South Orchard Drive.

The city council, in its first meeting of 2013, voted unanimously to grant preliminary and final site approval for a single-story 4,000 square foot retail/commercial building on 0.70 acres in a mixed use (MXD-R) zone.

The project had been approved several years ago but details forced that approval to lapse, forcing it to undergo planning commission and the city council review to move forward.
