OGDEN -- A victim in a home invasion called police and ran after the man who pointed a gun at him and two other people, officers say.
That phone call made it easy for police to arrest Aaron Daniel Bruins, 29, who is now charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary, all first-degree felonies, said Ogden Police Lt. Danielle Croyle.
Bruins, along with a juvenile, entered a home at 9 p.m. Wednesday at the 800 block of Patterson Avenue, Croyle said. The two pointed guns at the three people in the home, made them lay down on the floor and then took wallets and electronics.
As soon as they left, one of the victims followed the two and called police, Croyle said.
Bruins was booked into Weber County Jail early Thursday morning and is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bail.
The juvenile was also arrested and has been referred to 2nd District Juvenile Court.
