SALT LAKE CITY -- A winter storm moving into Utah is expected to bring a foot of snow to Wasatch mountain ski resorts.
Winds that arrived ahead of the storm brought the first relief from air pollution that smothered mountain valleys in northern Utah for more than a week.
It's the most significant snowstorm in more than two weeks. Snow began falling in southern Utah late Saturday, leaving six inches of snow at Eagle Point ski in the mountains outside Beaver.
The National Weather Service says the storm will last through until Monday morning, with more snowfall expected Monday night.
