House underfunded Benghazi security; yet blamed Clinton

I was impressed with Secretary Clinton’s acceptance of responsibility for the Benghazi attack. She was thoroughly prepared and her defense was intelligent and bold against attacks from GOP critics. She said she issued directives to correct any deficiencies found by an independent committee. She said that 20 embassies are in similarly vulnerable positions due, in part, to the U.S. House’s underfunding security for State Department security by hundreds of millions of dollars. (Can any Secretary of State under any president promise that such attacks will never happen on US embassies again in any country?)

Her critics want to destroy her, Susan Rice and President Obama over this issue while forgetting the GOP’s support of the Iraqi War, which cost

4,500 dead and 32,000 wounded. By the way, the “weapons of mass destruction” were never found. That war, which was entered into by President Bush, VP Cheney, and the Neo-Cons proved to be a huge fiasco.

By the way, I am still waiting for President Bush to apologize for his role in starting that unnecessary war.
