FARMINGTON — The man accused of shooting at a truck on Legacy Highway and then exchanging gunfire with police Jan. 16 was in court Monday.
Marco Antonio Guizar, 37, in 2nd District Court, conditionally waived his right to a preliminary hearing. A felony arraignment hearing has been set for Feb. 28.
Guizar is charged with one count of attempted aggravated murder, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of failure to respond to an officer’s signal to stop, one count of interference with an arresting officer and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to assault.
Guizar is being held without bail in Davis County Jail.
