Library in Washington Terrace to hold free genealogy workshop

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Weber County Library’s Pleasant Valley Branch, 5568 Adams Ave., will have a free genealogy workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Participants will be introduced to several websites helpful in tracking family history. There will be instruction on ways to begin a search, and a demonstration on how to use HeritageQuest. This genealogy research database enables users to search for information on people and places described in more than 25,000 family and local histories.
