SALT LAKE CITY - Wendy's will celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America with the annual Wendy's Community Night Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 5 - 8 p.m.
Wendy's has teamed with BSA for a state-wide community night to commemorate the Boy Scouts' illustrious career in Utah. Each of the 84 Wendy's restaurants in Utah will donate 10 percent of the event's proceeds to help support the BSA.
"We want to honor the Boy Scouts of America and help further the organization's mission in teaching young boys the skills and values they need to become ethical and moral leaders throughout their lives," said Chris Hutchinson, Wendy's division vice president.
Local Boy Scout troops will be in attendance at each of the 84 Wendy's restaurants.
"The Boy Scouts of America of Utah have a long-standing respect for Wendy's and greatly appreciate their support for Utah's scouts," said Don Bean, senior development director of the Great Salt Lake Council." The proceeds collected on Wendy's Community Night will benefit Boy Scouts throughout Utah."
