BRIGHAM CITY — The Box Elder Sheriff’s Department reported Friday that a 63-year-old Elwood man missing since Sunday has been found.
The sheriff’s office said in a press release that John Frederick Kilburn was found Thursday night at a truck stop hear Las Vegas. He was confused and disoriented but otherwise unharmed. The release said Kilburn was having medical problems and said his family was asking not to be disturbed.
Kilburn’s wife notified the Sheriff’s Department that he was missing Monday after he went to feed his cattle Sunday evening and did not return. Searchers using rescue dogs hunted for him unsuccessfully for two days.
