Maverick looking for a new home

OGDEN — A small Chihuahua-type dog found severely injured Dec. 14 is hoping for a permanent home through the Pack ’n Pounce Animal Rescue.

Maverick was found alongside a snowy road, apparently hit by a car. He suffered a dislocated jaw, lacerations and a shattered bone in his pelvis.

Dr. Kathy Borrett at Millcreek Animal Hospital has donated time to help Maverick.

Brenda Gordon at Pack ’n Pounce said anyone interested in either adopting Maverick or helping defray his medical costs can call her at 801-710-6440.
