SALT LAKE CITY — Each year the Daughters of Utah Pioneers holds a Days of ’47 Royalty Pageant. Three young women who exemplify the high standards of pioneers past and present will represent the state of Utah, Days of ’47 and Daughters of Utah Pioneers during their one-year reign.
This year’s pageant will be April 11-13, at the Little Theater, LDS Conference Center, 60 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City.
The pageant is open to all women ages 19 to 25, regardless of religious or ethnic background, who have pioneer ancestry and are qualified in other required areas.
