74-year-old man reported missing in Ogden has been found safe

OGDEN — A 74-year-old man who was missing Friday afternoon has been found.

Weber County Sheriff Lt. Mark Lowther said, after a missing person alert went out to the media dispatch received numerous calls from residents who had seen Holger Sass walking through Ogden.

He was last seen near 40th Street and Washington Boulevard at noon on Friday and family members found him about 4:30 p.m. at 32nd Street and Jackson Avenue just walking, Lowther said.

Family members and officers were concerned about Sass because of the snow storm and he is unable to speak clearly and has dementia,  Lowther said.
