Man, woman found dead in SUV along I-80

SALT LAKE CITY -- Authorities are investigating a possible murder-suicide that happened in an SUV just off the interstate in Salt Lake City.

Utah Highway Patrol Corporal Todd Johnson says the incident was reported about 9 a.m. Friday on Interstate 80 near the Redwood Road off-ramp.

Officials say the female driver and the male passenger were both found dead with gunshot wounds to the head. UHP says both are adults, but exact ages and identities haven't been released.

Johnson says the vehicle hadn't crashed, and was located just off the pavement from the road.
