Bessie Thedell

Bessie R. Thedell of Ogden celebrated her 85th birthday at home with her family on Feb. 9.

She is the second of seven brothers and three sisters, the daughter of Frank L. and Agnes Stoddard. She grew up in West Point and married Karl L. Thedell on Oct. 25, 1946. Their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.

She was active in the LDS Church and served a stake mission with her husband.

She enjoys camping and fishing, watching the Utah Jazz games and spending time with family.

Her children and spouses are Earl and Connie Thedell, Conne and Alex Kakikine, Peggy and Paul Fink, and Karen and Don Bradfield.

She has two granddaughters, 11 grandsons and nine great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
